• Key pins are compatible with Kwikset-brand bedroom or bathroom door knobs/levers.
• Included: 5 door lock emergency key pins. Can be stored conveniently above door frame for easy access.
• For interior bed/bath doorknobs and levers that have a small key access hole on the doorknob (or lever), which require a key with a flattened end, which are the “Turn-to-Unlock” type interior keys.
• To use: Place the slotted end of the key pin into the center of the knob/lever hole. Insert the key until it stops. Slowly turn the key clockwise until the key falls into the groove. Turn the key to the left to unlock the door for a lever, and turn the key to the right to unlock the door for a knob.
• Length of slotted end: 1/8″. NOT for use in “Push-to-Unlock” type interior locksets, as the flat end of the key will not fit into the lockset access hole.
